Definition: OPEN ENROLLMENT / INTRADISTRICT transfer means a student whose parent/guardian resides within the District’s boundary of enrollment and wants to attend a different school other than his/her assigned “home” school within the district.
Due to the unanticipated challenges that families are currently facing due to COVID-19, the Huntington Beach Union High School District will be offering an additional intradistrict/open enrollment transfer window. During the July 27-31 window, you will be able to initiate your open enrollment request for the 2020-2021 school year.
INTRADISTRICT/OPEN ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES:
1. Download and complete the Open Enrollment Application
2. Applications must be submitted during the Open Enrollment window of July 27-31; early applications will not be accepted.
3. Applications must be submitted in-person to the District Office, located at 5832 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92649.
The deadline to submit is Friday, July 31, at 4:00 p.m.
