Overgrad

The Huntington Beach Union High School District is excited to announce the adoption of Overgrad, a free platform that helps students and parents plan for life after high school.

You or your student may have already received an invitation via school email. Please take time to review the following information, and since it’s voluntary, if you see value in using the program, jump in! HBUHSD Guidance staff will begin their Overgrad training in October, but students and parents can start using it now!

With this service, students are able to find colleges and careers that match with their academic abilities and interests, understand the requirements needed to get there, and then have tools to track their progress toward meeting those requirements over time.

How can my student(s) use Overgrad?

Using Overgrad is voluntary. HBUHSD students and families are NOT REQUIRED to use the service. In order to use Overgrad, you or your student simply needs to visit www.overgrad.com and create an account as a student. Or they should log-in, if they have already gotten started at school. Students can access Overgrad on any device—including laptops, phones, tablets, and PC’s.

How can I use Overgrad as a parent?

Parents are now able to create their own accounts, allowing them to partner with their child and monitor their academic progress over time.

To create a parent account, simply visit www.overgrad.com/join and sign up as a parent. Then you can add your child/children to get started.
