Welcome to HBUHSD Food & Nutrition Services. We are made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals dedicated to students' health, well being, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits and lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at our schools meet state and federal nutrition standards based on the U.S.D.A. Dietary Guidelines. Students have access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods meeting the nutrition standards.

Here is the latest information on the healthy changes our school cafeterias are undergoing.

Meal Applications Information:

Meal applications for the 2016-2017 school year will not be released until July 2016. The 2015-2016 meal application is valid until June 30, 2016 only. Do not use this year's application for the 2016-2017 school year.

Each school year a new application is required. If a new application is not submitted or approved, then students must pay for their meals. The charge for a breakfast is $2.00 and lunch is from $3.50 to $4.50.  More Info Here

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
