Huntington Beach High School Announces Todd Voulemenous as new Assistant Principal

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - The Oiler family welcomes Todd Voulemenous to Huntington Beach High School (HBHS) as their new Assistant Principal, where he will focus on student/staff wellness and academic support.

Voulemenous’s bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and double master’s degrees in Education Technology and Educational Leadership, along with his 22 years of educational experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels have equipped him well for his new role at HBHS. Todd is a forward thinker, which is showcased through his various accolades and accomplishments. While assistant principal at McPherson Magnet School, Voulemenous was awarded Site Leader of the Year by Orange County CUE (Computer Using Educators) for innovative work in 21st century leaders in education. Todd’s technological pushes continued while at Servite High School where he established the technology program as the Director of Education Technology. Following this, Voulemenous helped build two STEAM labs at Yorba Middle School, leading the school to be named a Showcase School for STEAM education and being personally recognized as a national trainer of all new STEAM teachers in the Western United States. On top of his extensive educational background, Todd honorably served in the U.S. Navy as an Air Traffic Controller.

“What a find in Todd!” exclaimed HBHS Principal, Daniel Morris. “He is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in education and the private sectors. He is a proven kid-centered administrator and will fit in nicely with our student achievement and wellness campus goals. We look forward to him wearing the Orange and Black!”

Todd Voulemenous shared, “I cannot express how excited I am to be working at Huntington Beach High School. The staff and the administrative team are incredible and have made me feel like family right from the beginning. I am looking forward to getting to know the whole school community and having a great year and career as an Oiler!”
