Prior to joining HBUHSD, she was the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services at Westminster School District from 2021 to 2022, the same role she is now stepping into at HBUHSD. Green also brings a comprehensive understanding of multiple departments, having served as Director of K-12 Educational Services at Garden Grove Unified School District from 2019 to 2021, following a five-year tenure as their Assistant Director and Fiscal Services Manager of Business Services. Her depth of leadership experience combined with her familiarity with the district’s Business Services Department will position Green for a seamless transition into the role while ensuring the district’s financial stability and long-term fiscal health.

“I am honored and excited to continue supporting the students, staff, and community of the Huntington Beach Union High School District in my new role as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services,” shared Traci Green. “My heart is committed to meaningful work rooted in servant leadership, and I look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders to advance student achievement and success.”

Superintendent Dr. Carolee Ogata expressed, “We couldn’t ask for a more exceptional leader to head our Business Services Department. Traci Green brings extensive experience in educational finance and is as dedicated as they come. She is deeply committed not only to the district’s overall financial health, but also to supporting the success of every individual. Her ability to strike the right balance between sound fiscal management and ensuring our schools have access to the programs, services, and facilities they need to thrive will be a great strength for our district.”

With her fiscal expertise, integrity, and focus on student achievement, HBUHSD is confident in the continued success of the Business Services Department with Green at the helm. The district looks forward to the impact of her leadership for years to come.
