Boyce is in his 22nd year at EHS, where he started out as the head boys basketball coach in 2001 and took over as athletic director in 2010. Boyce began his career as a freshman boys basketball coach at Tustin High School in 1985. While at Estancia, Boyce also coached varsity softball for one year, was an assistant coach for baseball and tennis, and helped part-time with golf.

Boyce won OCADA’s Norm MacKenzie “Rookie” Athletic Director Award in 2016 and has led Edison’s boys varsity basketball team to seven league titles over the last nine years.

”I am humbled by the award,” shared Boyce. “It is really an award for the entire Athletic Department here at Edison. All of our coaches, players, administrators, and school staff have a hand in winning this award. I am blessed to be at such a wonderful school.”

Boyce will be recognized at the 2024 California State Athletic Directors Association Conference in San Diego on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
