Ocean View High School Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Ocean View High School (OVHS) student-athletes gathered together in their theater to sign their National Letters of Intent, securing their commitment to play collegiate athletics.

OVHS celebrates eight total athletes who were surrounded by coaches, families, friends, and Athletic Director Tim Walsh. The student-athletes showed off their new schools’ regalia, excited to begin their new journey academically and athletically at colleges throughout the country.

The eight OVHS student-athletes who signed their letters are:

  1. Owen Eisen- Baseball - Lewis & Clark College
  2. Jasmine Hernandez - Stunt - Hofstra University
  3. Cayden Hohman - Baseball - University of Dallas
  4. Kaitlyn Knobbe - Softball - Pacific University
  5. Max Ligman - Cycling - Lees-McRae College
  6. Mulivai Levu- Baseball - Long Beach State University
  7. Evyn Lewis - Baseball - Lewis & Clark College
  8. Landon Runyan - Baseball - University of California, San Diego

OVHS Athletic Director Tim Walsh exclaimed, “We are so proud of these student-athletes who have put in the hard work to give themselves the opportunity to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level. These young men and women are talented athletes, great students (combined GPA of 3.99), and all have incredible character. We look forward to watching them compete at the next level!”

The Huntington Beach Union High School District is so impressed by these student-athletes and their desire to continue pushing themselves in the classroom and in their respective sports. We have no doubt they will continue to excel in this next phase of their lives, and we look forward to seeing all they will accomplish!
