36 student athletes at Huntington Beach High participate in Signing Day 2022 Huntington Beach Union High School District is known for our nationally-ranked athletic programs district-wide. This past week, Huntington Beach High School showcased their impressive group of athletes at National Signing Day 2022. To kick off the winter signing period, HBHS celebrated 36 students as they commit to the next four years at their future colleges and universities. The lunchtime event was held at the Cap Sheue Field and extremely well-attended by other HBHS students, staff, and families of the signees. Each athlete, proudly wearing hats and sweatshirts representing their future schools, introduced themselves and publicly announced what sport they will be playing and where they plan on attending. From baseball, to waterpolo, golf, soccer, softball, and even cheer, the HBHS athletic department was well represented at signing day. Congratulations Oilers! Published February 7, 2022 Print
