Edison High School names new Assistant Principal

After serving the Corona-Norco School District for ten years, White comes well-prepared and eager to become a contributing member of the HBUHSD.

Since 2012, White has taught 10th grade English Honors, English Language Development, and served as the Head Swim Coach at Santiago High School in Corona, CA.  White also facilitated the school’s required second semester symposium project, a large component of their 10th grade curriculum that requires students to research and solve social injustices around the world.  Prior to his time at Santiago High, White taught an array of English classes at Corona High School.  During his time at Corona High, he also embraced various leadership roles including curriculum development, textbook adoption committee member, and developing a lesson plan binder for new teachers.

A lifelong student himself, White has a collection of degrees, credentials, and certificates.  After receiving his bachelors in English from Montana State University, White also went on to receive a masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration and a masters in Educational Leadership, both from Concordia University in Irvine.

In his free time, White and his wife, Lacy, enjoy spending time doing outdoor activities with their 20-month old son, Harlan.

When asked about the upcoming school year, White expressed that he is eager, “to build positive relationships with staff and students and contribute to the amazing school culture at Edison High School.”
