The Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) Student Services Department is proud to offer the community presentation, 3G's (Guide, Guard, Govern) Event, "Not for Human Consumption -- Facts About Synthetic Drugs." This presentation is made possible through a joint effort between Orange County Sheriff's Department, CA, Huntington Beach Union High School District Student Services Department, Orange County Department of Education, National Council on Drug and Alcohol Dependence (Orange County), Orange County Superior Court, and other organizations in order to educate community members about synthetic drugs.In addition to hearing from top experts from the listed institutions, attendees will also hear from neuroscientists who will discuss the effect of drugs on the developing adolescent brain and representatives from various organizations to discuss additional resources. Parents and students are encouraged to attend this free, community event. We hope to see you there.
